12 Sept. 2021 - 3D Printing

Started printing an articulated lizard STL yesterday at around 9 pm.   The print job just finished 4 hours later.  The brim still has to be removed and cleanup of the model is required.

Installed the TH3D Flex2 build plate.  After installation the Z axis switch had to be raised to account for the new build plate heighth.  Also the Flex2 plate was bowed upwards enough that I had to use mesh leveling to be able to print anything.  The manual mesh uses a 3x3 grid to get the Z offsets, so it takes a little longer to get prints going.

Printed a CR-Touch mounting bracket for the day I order one of those sensors.

Started working on making a drink holder for my car.

I have a PLA black spool and a white PLA spool.  This weekend I printed a variety of STL files.

This is a test hook.  This is the first STL I printed on the X2.

This is the third STL  printed.  I was curious to find out the resolution the printer.  The pawn took 1 hour to print.

This is a Rook from the Spiral Chess set, files obtained from thingiverse.  This took 2 hours to print.

This is the articulated shark STL.  X2 indicates 2 hours to print...
